La inserción de países en desarrollo en las cadenas globales de valor: variables clave y principales tendencias

Resumen

El artículo analiza la inserción de los países en desarrollo (PeD) en cadenas globales de valor (CGV). Destaca que dicha inserción es clave en la agenda de desarrollo, recogiendo los debates fundamentales en la literatura. Identifica tres aspectos clave para el análisis: grado de participación, modalidad y escalamiento industrial y laboral. El trabajo concluye señalando que las dinámicas recientes suponen retos para la reconfiguración de las CGV y la inserción de PeD. El análisis realizado revela un estancamiento en la inserción de muchos PeD tras la Gran Recesión, enfrentando, además, desafíos para lograr procesos de escalamiento industrial y laboral.
