Este artículo tiene como objetivo contribuir al debate actual sobre la sostenibilidad del mercado financiero, proporcionando una visión integral de los desafíos a los que se enfrenta la industria de la gestión de fondos y ofreciendo recomendaciones prácticas para avanzar hacia un sistema financiero más sostenible. Para ello, se realiza un estudio de gabinete basado en la literatura académica más reciente sobre el tema y la práctica profesional. Entre los principales desafíos identificados se encuentran la integración de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) en las estrategias de inversión avanzadas, la medición de riesgos de sostenibilidad, la multidimensionalidad de los datos o las presiones regulatorias, entre otros.
