La urbanización africana: una oportunidad para el desarrollo sostenible compartido

Resumen

El futuro del continente africano es inminentemente urbano. La urbanización africana se ha convertido en uno de los motores de las grandes transformaciones políticas, sociales y medioambientales del continente vecino. Una planificación ordenada, gestionada y bien gobernada contribuirá a la prosperidad, a la transición hacia una economía verde y al desarrollo sostenible del continente y de sus ciudadanos, ofreciendo oportunidades de empleo y mejora a una población mayoritariamente juvenil. Este artículo analiza el estado actual de la urbanización africana, con los riesgos y oportunidades que este complejo proceso ofrece para África y España.
