Resumen

Cerrar la brecha de género se ha convertido en los últimos años en un reto prioritario para la sociedad. A través de la revisión de la literatura académica, indagamos en las diversas causas detrás de la brecha de género en el mercado laboral, haciendo un recorrido por las diferentes etapas de la vida en las que se producen situaciones de desigualdad. Se concluye con unas recomendaciones de las políticas económicas y sociales que terminen con el incesante goteo contra la igualdad de oportunidades entre mujeres y hombres, para alcanzar así una sociedad más justa.
