Futuros alternativos de las Metrópolis. Imágenes prospectivas de la ciudad

Resumen

En tiempos de incertidumbre y cambio sistémico el fracaso más importante de los líderes es la falta de imaginación. Solo si somos capaces de imaginar el tipo de ciudad que queremos conseguir, podremos convertirnos en arquitectos de su futuro. Hoy la tecnología avanza al ritmo de la ciencia ficción, más rápido incluso de lo que somos capaces de imaginar, y las implicaciones en la forma en que experimentamos y diseñamos la ciudad serán extremas. Es necesario actualizar nuestros marcos de referencia. Este artículo es una introducción práctica a los marcos analíticos de prospectiva y generación de escenarios disruptivos basados en tecnologías exponenciales, y tiene como objetivo ayudar a los nuevos líderes a mirar más allá de las certezas pasadas a imaginar de manera estructurada un mayor espectro de retos y oportunidades para el futuro de nuestras ciudades.
