Regulación, competencia y plataformas digitales: óptica de agenda política

Resumen

Las plataformas digitales se sitúan en el centro de la agenda política en todas las grandes economías. La complejidad de estos modelos de negocio y de su impacto en los mercados han hecho que la naturaleza de las medidas articuladas se distancie de las aproximaciones previas. La agenda digital de la Comisión Europea y, dentro de esta, medidas como la Digital Markets Act, refleja bien una tendencia en la evolución de formas y objetivos de la aproximación regulatoria. La eficacia que estas demuestren en la práctica determinará, en gran medida, el alcance de las aspiraciones puestas en la transición digital.
