Indicadores de agua incorporada y actividad económica desde la perspectiva de la producción y el consumo: un análisis temporal para la economía española

Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar un conjunto de indicadores económico-ambientales que den cuenta del impacto que las relaciones de producción, consumo y comercio de la economía española ejercen sobre el medio ambiente y, en particular, sobre los recursos hídricos. Con este objetivo, se utiliza la modelización input-output multirregional extendida ambientalmente, y se presentan indicadores de agua incorporada en la producción y la demanda de la economía. Posteriormente, y tomando como como referencia el horizonte 1995-2016, se evalúa el consumo de agua en España asociado a la estructura productiva y sectorial del país, y a sus vínculos internacionales a través de las cadenas de producción mundial.
